Very tiny ear canals, very sensitive to any pressure. Compared with other tiny earplug tips I've tried, I'm happy with how this XXS fits in my left ear. I'm now wishing for an XXXS for my right ear, which aches with the XXS inserted. I'm still using my Flare Night Mini in that ear. Loop was much too big for both ears. I like the Loop case better than Curvd, because it's easier to access—Curvd's case is fiddly to access, and Im prone to dropping earplugs and cases in airplanes, for some reason. I'm thrilled with the Curvd earplugs for environments such as church (the organ volume is painful for me, and some speakers are very loud on the mic), but impossible for small groups or conversations (I can't hear people well enough through them, so I have to take the earplugs out during Sunday school or chatting with friends). Definitely not the tool for taking the edge off daily noises while staying engaged in day to day activities, at least not for me. I'm torn about the design of the external portion of the earpiece: part of me doesn't care what an earplug looks like as long as it's subtle, but I think I visually prefer the lower profile of the Loop. I plan to keep an eye on the curvd site, in case the items/designs on my wish list appear. Meanwhile, I would buy more XXS tips. Speaking of buying more. . . i only bought the extra tips because the earplugs i bought them for only listed XS as the smallest earplug tip included in the set. Turns out, the XXS was actually included, so I could have kept my money. I guess it saves me time down the road. Just a bummer to not have an updated product listing.
